What’s in a name? You may be wondering how we came up with our catchy name and why we like it so much!

David has always carried a colorful bandana in his back pocket as his handkerchief. He has a variety of colors—orange, blue, red, purple and white.

When David and Nancy began to date and share some of life's experiences and stories, it never failed that the bandana Dave pulled from his back pocket to dry a tear of joy or laughter was the orange one. It happened so many times during their courtship that it became an expectation on Nancy's part. One day, David exclaimed, "I think this bandana belongs to you!"

Well, actually, The Orange Bandana, Inc. belongs to the both of us! We feel it is a great name for our basket gift service because our goal is to give you a way to send expressions of hope, sympathy, joy, thanks, and laughter to those that you want to honor. We enclose a bandana in each basket so that your gift recipients have their own bandana to use to catch the emotion of the moment!
